How To Do A Quick Front Porch Makeover
Today I’m sharing how to do a quick front porch makeover.
The first thing I decided to do on the front porch was to change the color of the front door. I’ve had the same front door color for the last 6 years.
Painting the front door is a quick change that’s also inexpensive to do!
Here is a photo of my front porch!
As you can see my front porch is small so doing a few quick changes won’t take long at all.
The first item of change on the front porch was to paint the front door.
Picking a new door color to go with what I wanted to do with the front porch was a little challenging for me!
There are so many paint color’s to choose from!
A front porch should make a statement, because the porch area is what greets your guest first.
A front porch is an extension of the home.
I like my front porch colors to blend with the color’s of my home.
After bringing paint swatches home and taping them all over the front porch I decided on a color that my mom would have loved!
The color for the front door is a very pretty blue.
Painting the front door was so quick and easy to do and it sure makes a statement for the front porch.
How I painted the door and what products I used I’m sharing at the bottom of the post.
This was a really easy project that made a big statement.
Here it is!!!!!
The new color for the front door!!!
Changing the color of the door change the appreance of the whole front porch!
It was also such a quick project to do!
I spray painted the screen door as well as the sidelights, which were painted white to match.
These changes also were very quick.
Adding the little hello deca to the front door makes the porch more welcoming too!
I added planters to the front porch.
These planters were given to me by my sister in law and they were black so I spray painted both to correlate with the front door.
The topiary’s are fake!
I know… but I can’t grown them on my front porch! I can not tell you how many I have planted… and they all have died!
So I’m going to try this out but the flower’s are real!
The little jute door mat I’ve added to the front porch is a quick way to add freshness.
My new wreath makes the porch feel more welcoming!
I also added a few little pots to the porch.
Oh and the topiary’s are from Amazon, just in case your like me and you don’t have a green thumb!
I’m also thinking I may want to paint the front porch floor ceiling the same color as the front door!
What do you think?
Adding a few little planters to the front porch is a quick way to make the porch feel more special!
It really does not take much time at all to create a pretty front porch to greet our guest.
With a few little updates such as paint, a little decal, and some plants it’s quick to create a front porch makeover.
Thank you for stopping back by and reading all about how to do a quick front porch makeover.
