Here in the midwest, it looks more like winter! I woke up this morning to snow! Can you believe it! Last night when taking out Tucker it was coming down hard! I was shocked when I walked outside.
Yesterday I was thinking about taking all the covers off my patio furniture. It was almost 70 degrees! I told my son it’s been so nice I hardly think we’ll get more snow! Oh boy, I spoke too soon!
Even though we have snow and Easter is this Sunday, I’m still celebrating with a spring table all the graces of this beautiful holiday!
This year it will be a small setting. My husband, myself, and three of our children will be here for brunch. Our son who is living in Seattle will join us on zoom.
I added a few spring touches to our table. Flowers always say spring to me! Bunnies are a favorite of mine and I have two cute little bunnies to add to my table arrangement.
I like to use a basket because I can remove it easily when we all sit down to eat, it also allows for more room on the table after it’s removed.
I added two little bunnies to the basket and filled the flowers around the bunnies. Adding some natural paper grass as well for a fill-in.
Keeping with my spring theme, I added these cute little bird napkin holders. Birds say spring to me! I also added a paper floral napkin to my cloth napkins. Wanting more of a spring look this is what I had on hand. I think it gives my table that spring look.
I’m all about using what I have!
Using a table cloth for my setting gives a little elegance to the table, and I balanced it with a more relaxed feel by using my wicker placemats.
The cute little carrot plates are paper, shhh! I had ordered very cute bunnies plates and they haven’t arrived yet, so we’ll use these instead. They are so cute, do you think so!
Using china is so special on the holidays! I really like to use my china dishes all the time. My thoughts are dishes are too pretty not to use every day!
The silverware is old. I’ve had this set for a long time, it’s such a heavy solid set, and it works well Lol!
Our stem wear, this set I bought at a tag sale! One of my Thrifty deals! Oh and the basket I’m using as our centerpiece was found at a thrift store for $5.00
I love to mix pieces of china, wicker, crystal, linen, porcelain, and paper products! It makes for a pretty and interesting table setting!
And the porcelain egg plate was also a tag sale find, I found it so many years ago.
The cute little carrot plates I bought at the dollar store! 10 plates for $1.00! When your plates don’t arrive on time a girl has to do what a girl can do! They’re so cute and they brighten up the table!
My table setting!
Using items I had from home, dollar store finds, along with thrift store buys you can set a pretty table on a budget!
I can hardly wait to have my family over for our favorite brunch! We’ll enjoy church together, and after church, we will all sit down together to have a meal. Just spending time with each other sharing this special day, the Lord’s day is such a blessing!
I hope you all enjoy your Easter Sunday however your celebrating it this year, may you be so blessed!
